Welcome to Goodemote Physical Therapy and Sports Performance, serving Saratoga Springs, NY. We help athletes and active adults reduce pain, rebuild strength, and return to training, sport, and daily life with confidence.

Our model blends physical therapy and performance training into one process, so you do not have to choose between getting out of pain and getting back to performance. Whether you are recovering from an injury, coming back after surgery, dealing with ongoing pain, or trying to improve athletic performance, we create an individualized plan based on your body, your goals, and your starting point. Physical Therapy

Sessions are always one-on-one and one hour long. We provide evidence-based care for sports injuries, back and neck pain, post-surgical recovery, movement-related pain, and physical limitations that interfere with training, work, and daily life. Every session is active, individualized, and focused on helping you recover well and move forward with confidence.

Sports Performance Training Programs  

Our sports performance programs are designed for athletes and driven active adults who want to move better, get stronger, and perform at a higher level. These programs focus on strength, power, speed, agility, coordination, movement quality, and resilience.

Each program begins with a detailed assessment to identify movement limitations, weak points, and performance gaps. From there, we build a structured training plan based on your goals, your sport, and the physical qualities you need most. The result is a program that does more than challenge you. It prepares you for the demands of training, competition, and long-term progress.

Meet Your Physical Therapist and Performance Coach

Founder of Goodemote Physical Therapy and Sports Performance, Matthew brings more than 25 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy and athletic development. His background bridges rehabilitation and performance training, which allows him to guide clients through the full process from pain or injury to stronger movement and higher-level performance.

Rather than separating rehab from training, Matthew helps clients move through both with a clear and progressive plan. His work is focused on helping people recover with purpose, rebuild capacity, and return to the activities that matter most with confidence
